AI Engineer - 6 months - London - Inside Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop agentic AI systems capable of multi-step reasoning, planning, and action execution
• Build scalable AI applications using Python as the core development language
• Develop and integrate solutions using Azure OpenAI Services, including prompt engineering, embeddings, and fine-tuning strategies
• Implement orchestration pipelines using Semantic Kernel and LangGraph for multi-agent workflows
• Integrate tools, APIs, and enterprise systems using MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar frameworks
• Design memory, state management, and context-aware agent behaviours
• Optimise performance, cost, and latency of LLM-based solutions
• Collaborate with solution architects, product teams, and stakeholders to translate business use cases into AI solutions
• Ensure governance, security, and responsible AI practices are Embedded into solutions
• Design agent architectures and define orchestration patterns

What You Will Ideally Bring

• Hands-on experience designing multi-agent solutions and RAG architecture
• Experience implementing complex orchestration workflows and building scalable AI microservices
• Experience defining AI governance patterns and troubleshooting production AI solutions
• Strong Python development skills
• Practical experience with Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry
• Experience with Semantic Kernel and LangGraph for agent orchestration

Contract Details

• Duration: 6 months
• Rate: £600/day - Inside IR35
• Location: London, EC1M - 1 day per week in Office
