Android Developer | Contract | Initial 3 months | Glasgow (1 day per week) | Inside IR35

This will be an initial 3 months with possibility to extend to March 2027.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong commercial experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java
  • Experience building applications using MVVM architecture
  • Strong experience with Android Studio and Jetpack Compose
  • Experience using Android Jetpack libraries, including LiveData, Navigation Component (NavGraph) and local persistence solutions (eg ObjectBox)
  • Experience with Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs using tools such as Retrofit
  • Experience using Git and Gradle
  • Good understanding of the Google Play Store release process
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
