AV Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality audio-visual installations across various environments.
- Install a wide range of AV systems, including displays, projectors, video conferencing equipment, audio systems, control systems, and structured cabling.
- Ensure installations are completed to the highest standards with exceptional attention to detail.
- Work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Document and communicate project details effectively.
- Be flexible with working hours to meet project deadlines.
- Lead installation teams across multiple client sites (desirable).
- Plan and coordinate installation activities (desirable).
- Program AV control systems (desirable).

- Previous experience in the Audio Visual (AV) industry.

- Experience with AV 1st and 2nd fix, including crimp and solder termination.

- Cabling (Cat5e-7) and fibre experience (highly desirable).
- Certifications such as AVIXA / InfoComm CTS, CEDIA qualifications, ECS Card, PASMA, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, and relevant Health & Safety certifications (highly desirable).

- Experience installing a wide range of AV systems, including displays, projectors, video conferencing equipment, audio systems, control systems and structured cabling.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring installations are completed to the highest standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities.
- Flexible approach to working hours, with the willingness to work additional hours when required to meet project deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills and a disciplined approach to documentation, communication and project delivery.
- Previous experience in AV 1st and 2nd fix with crimp and solder termination is essential.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience leading installation teams across multiple client sites.
- Experience planning and coordinating installation activities.
- Knowledge or experience of AV control system programming (e.g. Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, AMX or similar).
- Relevant academic qualifications in Audio Visual, Electronics, IT or a related technical discipline.
- Cabling (Cat5e-7) and fibre experience highly desirable
