Summary: The Awards (Film) Events Coordinator role at DDA involves managing the coordination of events for BAFTA and AMPAS film campaigns during the busy awards season. Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, execution, and delivery of compliant events programme in accordance with budget and strategic event objectives.
  • Coordination of all operational, production, content and programme development, AV, venues, logistics and customer journey requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, provide clear and concise internal communication of events within DDA.
  • Collaboration across all DDA departments.
  • Strict Budget Management, understand set up and run event budgets in line with differing event needs and provide advice on spend.
  • Negotiate, manage and maintain excellent professional relationships with existing and potential stakeholders, venues, agencies, contractors and general suppliers.
  • Management of budgets and tracking documents.
  • Onsite management and delivery of events, including evening and weekend work as required.
  • Lead with professional manner and demonstration of strong work ethic.
  • High level of effective team communication.
  • Consider and understand the pressures of the team as a whole.
  • Be approachable and professional at all times and positively contribute to the team environment.
  • Champion the importance of teamwork and motivate others around you.

About You

Our growing Events team is looking for a passionate and driven Events Coordinator to join DDA on a maternity cover contract during the busy film awards season. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the film industry, delivering a portfolio of world-class events. We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual with experience delivering events from concept through to execution. This is a key role within the Awards team, managing the day-to-day coordination of events across multiple BAFTA and AMPAS film campaigns, working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to deliver successful awards activity.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning
