Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support the delivery of AI and Generative AI applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.
- Automate and optimise development, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Build secure, resilient, and high-performing cloud infrastructure aligned with architectural and governance standards.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver reusable cloud services and platform capabilities.
- Develop and maintain automation tooling for cloud deployment, monitoring, and management.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and third-line support for critical production issues.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to maintain and enhance cloud environments.
- Contribute to continual improvement initiatives across DevOps practices, deployment methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
- Participate in technical evaluations and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Keep abreast of advancements in AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and cloud technologies, helping drive innovation across the organisation.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in cloud engineering/infrastructure roles.
- At least 3 years' hands-on Azure DevOps experience.
- Strong expertise across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure Networking, Azure App Services / Web Applications, Azure AI Services, Azure Container Apps, Azure Security & Governance.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Bicep.
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using YAML.
- Excellent understanding of cloud security principles and DevOps best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
