Business Analyst

Business Analyst - Cost Modelling - Unit Cost Framework - Process Mapping - Public Sector - Edinburgh Hybrid (3 days onsite)

I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a busy public sector client in Edinburgh.

You will be tasked with developing and embedding a Unit Cost Framework that connects organisational activities and processes to their underlying costs and so supporting more evidence-based decision making, better cost attribution and clearer performance insight across a portfolio of change.

You will be very much at the intersection of business analysis, process design and finance, turning stakeholder needs into practical, data-led solutions.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Business Analysis experience, ideally delivering business change projects for public sector/government organisations
• Strong knowledge of finance with hands-on experience of unit cost frameworks, cost modelling and cost drivers.
• Strong skills creating detailed process maps and activities to underlying costs and performance metrics.
• End-to-end process mapping experience (As Is and To Be) using BPMN and recognised analysis standards.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation and workshop facilitation skills, including with senior stakeholders.
