Summary: The Cloud IAM Support Engineer role involves supporting the Identity Access Management Team in delivering IAM services, ensuring appropriate access to resources. The position requires active security clearance and focuses on identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and governance. The engineer will also manage vendor accounts and provide support for PAM platforms. This role is fully onsite in Inverness and requires PAYE through an umbrella company.

Role Description:
As part of the Identity Access Management Team, you will be supporting the delivery of IAM services to ensure the right people (or systems) have the right access to the right resources at the right time, and for the right reasons. It typically covers:

  • Identity lifecycle management - creating, modifying, and removing user accounts
  • Authentication - verifying who someone is (eg, passwords, MFA, certificates)
  • Authorization - controlling what users are allowed to access
  • Governance & auditing - tracking access and ensuring compliance
