Commercial Strategy Consultant

For one of our clients active within the Travel Tech & FinTech sector, we are currently looking for a Strategy Associate focusing on commercial strategy, business transformation, and innovation within financial products.

As the Strategy Associate, you will support the FinTech Commercial Strategy team in defining strategic initiatives, building business cases, driving cross-functional projects, and enabling long-term growth and innovation.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Owning and driving strategic workstreams from ideation through execution and launch
• Conducting data-driven analyses, developing business cases, and translating insights into actionable recommendations
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Commercial teams to drive alignment and execution
• Developing high-impact presentations and strategic recommendations for leadership audiences
• Supporting the development of new capabilities, products, and operating models within the FinTech business
• Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment while navigating ambiguity effectively

Profile:

• Background within Strategy Consulting, Commercial Strategy, Business Transformation, Corporate Strategy, or a similar role
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience within a technology, FinTech, digital platform, or consulting environment
• Experience with business case development, strategic analysis, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision making
• Experience within FinTech, Payments, Financial Services, Travel Tech, or eCommerce would be a strong plus
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive initiatives without formal authority
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
• Fluent in English

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
• Hours per week: 40
• Location: Amsterdam (hybrid)
• Salary indication/Hourly rate: (based on experience)
