Construction Tutor

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging teaching, learning, and assessment with a creative and supportive approach.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate a range of learning styles and mixed abilities.
- Ensure high-quality teaching and learning for a group of learners.
- Design and implement innovative learning schemes, lesson plans, and initial assessments.
- Understand and apply RARPA, EIF, and quality processes in delivery.
- Work with adults facing multiple barriers to education.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive work environment.
Key Skills:
- Teaching qualification (PCGE, CertEd, DET or equivalent).
- Level 5 specialism and advantageous IQA and Assessor qualifications.
- Experience in designing and implementing innovative learning.
- Knowledge of initial assessment and diagnostic tools.
- Understanding of RARPA and EIF quality processes.
- Experience working with adults in hard-to-reach areas.
- Strong knowledge of OFSTED's Education Inspection Framework.
- Teamwork ethic and passion for adult education.

Job Description
As a Sessional Tutor, you will provide engaging teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach to teaching. Adapting to a range of learning styles, and ability to differentiate delivery to learners with mixed abilities to develop learners knowledge and understanding. All whilst ensuring you provide the highest possible quality teaching and learning to a group of learners.
As a Sessional Tutor, you should have:
- Teaching qualification (PCGE, CertEd, DET or equivalent), level 5 specialism (if you have IQA and Assessor qualifications that would be advantageous)
- Experience of design and implementation of innovative learning, schemes of work and lesson plans.
- Experience in a range of initial assessment and diagnostic tools.
- A thorough understanding of RARPA as well as the EIF and the quality processes that underpin your delivery.
- Experience of working with adults in hard-to-reach areas who may face multiple barriers to education.
- Strong working knowledge of OFSTEDs Education Inspection Framework.
- A strong team work ethic. We like to collaborate and support each other.
