• Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Implement solutions using Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Python, PySpark, Apache Spark, and Azure DevOps.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting, data governance, data lineage, and data quality standards.

Our clients are a global consultancy looking for a Data Architect within the banking space to join one of their projects for a Full time contract position (8 hours a day, 5 days a week).

Key Skills:

• Data Architecture & Modelling: Extensive experience designing target-state reporting and analytics data models, with expert knowledge of dimensional modelling (Kimball), Data Vault, medallion/layered architectures, and strong SQL skills.
• Banking & Financial Services Expertise: Proven background in banking, wealth or investment management, with experience in regulatory reporting, data governance, data lineage, data quality, and translating complex financial data into scalable reporting solutions.
• Stakeholder Consulting & Modern Data Platforms: Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to gather business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions using Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Python, PySpark, Apache Spark, and Azure DevOps (desirable).

Contract Details:

• This role is paying £540 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
• 4 days a week based in Central London
• Long term assignment
• Must have right to work in the UK without needing sponsorship
