Summary: Whitehall Resources is seeking a Database Administrator with SC clearance for a 6-month contract in Telford, Shropshire. Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) software.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.
  • Strong knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) are a plus.

Whitehall Resources require a Database Administrator with SC clearance to work with a key client on a 6 month initial contract.

*This role require on site work in Telford 2 days per week.

*Inside IR35.

*Active SC clearance preferred, candidates eligible for SC may be considered.

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the databases in our organization. You will ensure that data remains consistent, accessible, and secure across the database systems. Collaborating with other IT professionals and departments, you will contribute to the design and implementation of database solutions that meet the organization’s needs.

Responsibilities:
Database Maintenance and Monitoring:
