Delivery Manager - SC Cleared
SR2 has an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Manager to join a high-profile government programme focused on AI assurance, intelligent automation and digital service transformation.
The programme is helping to transform public services through the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence and automation, and you'll play a key role in coordinating delivery across multiple workstreams within a collaborative Agile environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Delivery Manager looking to work on a strategic, long-term government transformation programme, supporting the successful delivery of innovative digital services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery activities across an in-flight AI assurance and automation programme.
- Work closely with civil service teams, product managers, technical specialists and operational stakeholders.
- Manage delivery plans, risks, issues, dependencies and progress reporting across multiple workstreams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and help maintain delivery momentum throughout the programme.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Support governance, reporting and assurance activities aligned to government delivery standards.
- Identify and help remove delivery blockers while driving continuous improvement across teams.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of AI-enabled services within a fast-paced transformation environment.
Required Experience
- Active SC clearance.
- Around 4-7 years' experience in Delivery Management, Project Management or a similar role.
- Experience delivering projects within Agile environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and delivery reporting.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Comfortable working across multidisciplinary digital delivery teams.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with the confidence to take ownership of delivery activities.
Desirable
- Experience working within UK Government or the wider public sector.
- Exposure to AI, automation or digital transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with government delivery frameworks and governance processes.
