Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise electricians and subcontractors carrying out second fix electrical installations.
- Coordinate and oversee the completion of a plant room, ensuring all works are completed to specification.
- Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with current regulations and project standards.
- Monitor quality, productivity, and programme to keep works on schedule.
- Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks.
- Coordinate with the site management team and other trades to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Review drawings and identify any issues before installation.
- Ensure all snagging items are completed and signed off.
- Support testing, commissioning, and project handover.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of second fix installations and plant room electrical systems.
- Valid ECS Gold Card (or equivalent).
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining programme deadlines.
- Desirable: First Aid at Work qualification.
- Experience managing finishing and handover phases of residential developments.
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
