What you'll be doing
- Owning a caseload of ER issues — disciplinaries, grievances, absence management — from first contact through to resolution
- Acting as the primary point of contact for trade union representatives, maintaining constructive working relationships
- Coaching and upskilling managers on employment law and ER best practice
- Designing and delivering ER training across the business
- Supporting HR policy development and implementation
- Partnering with senior stakeholders on people solutions tied to business goals
What you'll bring
- CIPD Level 5 (essential)
- Solid ER-focused HR generalist background
- Direct, hands-on experience working with trade unions — this is essential, not preferred
- Strong employment law knowledge
- Confidence operating and influencing at senior level
- Able to commit to 4 days/week on-site in Ashford, Kent for the contract duration
