The Role
As the HR Business Partner for Europe, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing both strategic and operational HR support across multiple countries.
The position requires a strong understanding of employment relations, organizational change, workforce planning, and stakeholder management within a complex international environment.
You will play a key role in driving business performance through effective people strategies while ensuring compliance with local legislation and HR best practices across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders and management teams across Europe to provide strategic HR guidance.
- Support organizational design, workforce planning, and business transformation initiatives.
- Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and grievance cases.
- Collaborate with Works Councils and other employee representative bodies where required.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR policies across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Support compensation and reward processes, including salary reviews and organizational changes.
- Drive HR projects related to change management, integration, and organizational effectiveness.
- Use HR data and insights to support business decision-making and improve organizational performance.
About You
- 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience within an international, multi-country environment.
- Strong knowledge of European labour law and employee relations.
- Experience working with Works Councils, employee representative bodies, or similar stakeholder groups.
- Proven experience in change management, organizational transformation, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Fluent English is essential.
Additional Information
Location: Eindhoven area, Netherlands
Working model: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office required
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Permanent/payrolled employment only (PD)
No freelancers, contractors, interim professionals, or self-employed consultants
Candidates must currently be living in the Netherlands
Willingness to travel within Europe when required.
