Interim Group Financial Controller
Summary: Rutherford Cross is seeking an Interim Group Financial Controller for a 3-month period in South Lanarkshire. The role involves leading the preparation of statutory accounts, managing group consolidation processes, and acting as the main contact for external audits. The ideal candidate should have strong technical accounting knowledge and a minimum of 8 years of post-qualified experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and delivery of statutory accounts across multiple legal entities, ensuring full compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS
- Manage the end-to-end group consolidation process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting
- Act as the key point of contact for the external audit, coordinating deliverables and resolving queries efficiently
- Partner with senior finance stakeholders across the business to ensure robust controls, governance, and alignment of accounting policies
