Summary: The role is for an interim Structured Finance Lawyer to join a leading UK fintech lender's Capital Markets Legal team for a 12-month maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will support various financing transactions and collaborate with multiple internal teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting securitisation and asset-backed financing transactions.
- Assisting with warehouse financing facilities and broader funding arrangements.
- Reviewing and negotiating transaction documents alongside internal and external stakeholders.
- Advising on day-to-day legal issues arising from capital markets and funding activities.
- Working closely with commercial, treasury and risk teams on strategic financing initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Qualified lawyer with experience in structured finance, securitisation, ABS, debt capital markets or broader financing transactions.
- Between 2–6 PQE.
- Training from a recognised law firm and/or relevant in-house financial services experience.
- Commercially minded with strong drafting and stakeholder management skills.
- Keen to develop expertise within a high-growth fintech and alternative lending environment.

About You
