iOS Developer

Summary: The role of iOS Developer is a contract position based in Glasgow, requiring the candidate to work on native iOS applications primarily using Swift. The initial contract is for three months, with potential extension until March 2027, and the candidate must be able to travel to Glasgow once a week. The position is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop native iOS applications using Swift.
• Build applications using MVVM architecture.
• Integrate with REST APIs.
• Utilize SwiftUI and UIKit for application development.
• Work with Storyboards, Nibs, Auto Layout, and Size Classes.
• Implement iOS navigation patterns, including Coordinator Architecture.
• Use CoreData or similar local persistence solutions.
• Manage version control using Git.
• Understand the App Store release process, including certificates and provisioning profiles.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Apply knowledge of reactive programming using Combine and/or RxSwift.
• Demonstrate strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
