Lead Architect

Do you have exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership?This an exciting opportunity for a passionate senior architect who will be responsible for designing, shaping, and assuring end-to-end solution architectures across core enterprise platforms, with a primary focus on ERP, data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions. This is a hands-on architecture role, embedded within delivery. The role works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, engineers, vendors, and system integrators to translate business and functional requirements into pragmatic, scalable, and secure solution designs that can be built, integrated, governed, and operated successfully. Alongside solution design, the role plays an active part in supporting architecture governance, design assurance, and delivery processes, ensuring consistency, reuse, and compliance while still enabling pace and flexibility across a diverse global environment.

As the successful applicant a selection of your key objectives will be to own the solution architecture for initiatives spanning ERP, education platforms, people systems, data platforms, and AI-enabled capabilities. Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into clear solution designs, architecture options, and integration approaches. Work closely with delivery and engineering teams to ensure architectures are buildable, operable, and aligned to agreed designs. Design solution architectures for enterprise ERP and related platforms supporting finance, and people processes, including configuration, extensions, integrations, reporting, and data flows. Design and assure solution-level integration architectures using iPaaS, APIs, and event-driven patterns. Design solution architectures that incorporate data platforms, analytics, and AI capabilities as part of end-to-end solutions.

To be considered you will be able to demonstrate Strong hands-on experience designing solutions across ERP, or people platforms, data, and SaaS ecosystems. A proven ability to translate requirements into practical, build-ready architectures that stand up in delivery. A strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, and iPaaS platforms. Excellent communication skills, able to explain designs and trade-offs to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, SuccessFactors, Salesforce, or similar enterprise SaaS products would be beneficial.In return we offer a competitive day rate, hybrid working arrangements and the ability to shape technology strategy of a fast growing PE backed business
