Lead Data Analyst/BI Developer

We're looking for an experienced Data Analyst/Business Intelligence Developer who understands not only data, but the business processes behind it. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building credibility across the business, and becoming the go-to expert for data and business intelligence.

We're looking for someone who knows what good data looks like, is naturally curious, and isn't afraid to challenge assumptions by asking the questions others might overlook. You'll be equally comfortable carrying out your own data and business analysis within a collaborative, close-knit team, while also taking ownership of delivering high-quality reporting and Business Intelligence solutions.

You'll bring proven experience in data analysis, reporting, data integration and Business Intelligence across complex enterprise environments. A strong understanding of data warehouse design, including star schemas, is essential, along with experience developing and supporting enterprise data platforms, ETL processes, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integrations, APIs and structured reporting datasets. You'll also have a solid grasp of data governance and data quality principles, with experience creating dashboards, visualisations, SSRS reports and web-based reporting solutions using SQL, DAX, HTML and JavaScript. Experience integrating APIs and enabling data to move effectively between business systems is also important.

Beyond the technical skills, we're looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas and influence positive change. You'll work with stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, eCommerce, Retail and CRM to help improve the way data is managed, reported and shared across the organisation. You'll play a key role in driving consistency in reporting, supporting the development of a data catalogue, and helping establish data stewardship across the business.
