Role
The Linux Systems Analyst will manage incidents, service requests, problems and operational tasks within SLA targets.
Provide advanced 2nd line support across infrastructure, applications and integrations.
Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent resolution of problems.
Support change, release, continuity and disaster recovery processes.
Support EDI, AS2, SFTP and customer integration solutions.
Work closely with clients and business stakeholders.
Deliver continual service improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
Profile
The Linux Systems Analyst will have strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration experience.
Linux performance tuning, patching, security and automation.
Shell scripting, Perl, SQL and related technologies.
Networking fundamentals, SSL/TLS and secure file transfer technologies.
Apache, OpenSSL, JBoss/J2EE, Jenkins and Atlassian products or similar.
Basic database administration (MySQL, Sybase ASE, or similar).
Basic SAP administration.
Microsoft 365, Windows and end-user support skills.
Incident, problem, change and request management.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
Experience working within SLA-driven environments.
Desirable Skills
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- RHCSA or equivalent Red Hat/Linux certification.
- Additional cloud, infrastructure or security certifications.
