We are seeking an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join our friendly and supportive Local Authority inhouse Legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse and interesting caseload while playing a key role in developing the next generation of legal talent.
You will manage a broad caseload covering both civil and criminal litigation, including housing litigation, providing high-quality legal advice.
The role offers genuine variety and may include:
- Civil litigation matters
- Criminal prosecutions and regulatory enforcement
- Housing litigation, including possession proceedings, injunctions and related matters
- Management of external counsel
- Advising officers and members on litigation risks and strategy
