About the role...

Working in the Business Planning and Performance team, this role plays an important part in delivering high quality performance reporting and financial insight across Homes England’s investment programmes. You will help ensure data is accurate, timely and supports effective decision making, tracking delivery against the Annual Business Plan You will join a skilled and collaborative team within the Chief Operating Office, focused on improving reporting, data quality and consistency. The team works closely with Finance, Risk and programme teams to provide a clear and reliable view of performance. The role includes both day to day delivery and supporting improvements to reporting and forecasting. You will help strengthen processes, improve data quality and contribute to ongoing work to make reporting more efficient and useful.

You are confident working with performance and financial data, with the ability to analyse information and identify key trends, risks and issues. Complex data can be translated into clear, practical insight that supports senior stakeholders in making informed decisions. You have strong stakeholder skills enable you to build effective relationships across teams, offering clear guidance and constructive challenge where needed. A collaborative approach comes naturally, along with the ability to work across different functions to support shared outcomes. You have a solid understanding of financial and performance reporting underpins your work, including experience of forecasting and managing data from multiple sources. Maintaining accuracy and consistency across data is a key strength. You take pride in delivering high quality outputs and are motivated to improve how things are done. A focus on efficiency, clarity and continuous improvement helps strengthen both processes and the value of the team’s work.
