Manufacturing/Logistics Planner (Primavera P6)

Summary: The role of Manufacturing/Logistics Planner involves supporting a major engineering programme within a complex manufacturing and logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning for fast-paced projects, particularly in the energy, manufacturing, engineering, or logistics sectors. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure project milestones are met and involves the use of Primavera P6 for scheduling. The role is based in the Bristol area and requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules within a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Support planning and scheduling activities across manufacturing and logistics operations.
  • Work closely with the EPC Planner to ensure project plans remain accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks and schedule impacts, and support mitigation activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, logistics and project teams to ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
  • Produce planning reports and schedule updates using Primavera P6.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Planner within manufacturing, engineering, logistics or energy sectors.
  • Strong experience using Primavera P6.
  • Experience working within complex project environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to analyse schedules, identify risks and manage project timelines effectively.

Salary (Rate): £450 per day
