Multiple IAM Consultants - Service Lead | Cloud IAM | On-Prem IAM
Summary: The role involves recruiting multiple IAM Consultants with expertise in service leadership, cloud identity, or on-premises IAM technologies for a team focused on delivering secure Identity & Access Management services. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring appropriate user access while supporting governance and compliance. The position is fully onsite in Inverness and offers a competitive daily rate. Successful candidates will need to be eligible for BPSS clearance and work via PAYE Umbrella.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver secure Identity & Access Management services.
- Manage identity life cycle processes including Joiners, Movers & Leavers.
- Implement authentication technologies and access governance.
- Lead IAM service operations and design service models.
- Support cloud identity services and privileged access controls.
- Administer on-premises IAM solutions and Active Directory.
- Engage with stakeholders and manage supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with KPIs and SLAs.
- Facilitate risk management and continual service improvement.
Key Skills:
- Strong Identity & Access Management experience.
- Experience with Microsoft identity environments.
- Proficiency in authentication technologies including MFA.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Identity Manager, Active Directory, and cloud IAM solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Inverness five days a week.
- Eligibility for BPSS clearance.
- Experience with PAYE Umbrella arrangements.

We are currently expanding an Identity & Access Management team and are looking to speak with experienced IAM Consultants from a variety of backgrounds. Whether your expertise lies in service leadership, cloud identity, or on-premises IAM technologies, we'd like to hear from you.
You'll be joining a team responsible for delivering secure Identity & Access Management services, ensuring the right users have the right access to the right resources while supporting governance, compliance and operational excellence.
Core IAM Environment
Successful candidates will have experience across some or all of the following:
- Identity life cycle management (Joiners, Movers & Leavers)
- Authentication technologies including MFA
- Authorisation and access governance
- Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Entra ID
- BeyondTrust PRA/PAM
- Okta
- PowerShell
- C#/.NET Framework
- SQL Server
- LDAP
- XML
- MIM Custom Rule Extensions and synchronisation workflows
We are particularly interested in consultants with experience in one of the following areas:
1. IAM Service Leadership
- Leading IAM service operations within hybrid environments
- Service design and Target Operating Model (TOM) development
- Transition planning, knowledge transfer and service onboarding
- Service governance, KPI & SLA management
- Stakeholder engagement and supplier management
- Risk, issue and continual service improvement
- Broad knowledge across IGA, SSO, MFA, PAM and PKI
2. Cloud IAM & Privileged Access
- Administration and support of Microsoft Entra ID
- Okta administration and identity federation
- BeyondTrust PRA account onboarding and offboarding
- Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform support
- Jump server administration and local account management
- Supporting secure cloud identity services and privileged access controls
3. On-Premises IAM Engineering
- Active Directory administration (Users, Groups & GPOs)
- Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) administration and support
- Joiner, Mover & Leaver (JML) processes
- MIM integrations and synchronisation
- Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS)/Internal PKI
- Supporting hybrid identity environments
Essential Requirements
- Strong Identity & Access Management experience
- Experience within enterprise Microsoft identity environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
- Comfortable working onsite five days per week in Inverness
- Eligible to obtain BPSS clearance
- Able to work via PAYE Umbrella
