Network Security Engineer

Summary: The role of Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) Consultant involves delivering Zero Trust access solutions within a complex enterprise environment. Key responsibilities include analyzing applications, designing onboarding strategies, configuring ZPA policies, and facilitating the migration from traditional VPN access. The position is a 9-month contract based in Glasgow and classified as inside IR35. Candidates should have relevant experience in ZPA implementations and Zero Trust migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze applications for Zero Trust access.
• Design onboarding approaches for Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
• Configure ZPA policies.
• Support migration from traditional VPN access.
• Work on application onboarding, segments, connectors, and access policies.
• Engage with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, SAML, OIDC, and MFA.
• Participate in VPN migration projects.
• Conduct approximately two site visits per month.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Familiarity with application onboarding processes.
• Understanding of application segments, app connectors, and access policies.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Knowledge of SAML, OIDC, and MFA.
• Experience in VPN migration projects.
• Understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals.
