Summary: The Oracle Fusion Payroll Developer role is focused on enhancing and supporting one of the UK's largest payroll environments within a high-profile government programme. The position requires expertise in Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions and involves collaboration in an Agile/DevOps setting to deliver critical payroll enhancements and operational support. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining payroll functionalities and integrations. This role is hybrid, requiring three days onsite in Bristol, and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions and enhancements.
  • Configure and maintain Payroll elements, Fast Formula, and payroll-related functionality.
  • Develop and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Create and maintain HCM Extracts, HDL, and HSDL data-loading solutions.
  • Develop OTBI and BI Publisher reports to support business and operational requirements.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex payroll and integration issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll.
  • Expertise in Fast Formula, Payroll Elements, HCM Extracts, HDL, and HSDL.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and payroll integrations.
  • Strong OTBI and/or BI Publisher reporting experience.
  • Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience working within corporate services or shared services environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret user requirements and deliver practical solutions.
  • Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery models.
  • Active SC Clearance.

We are seeking experienced Oracle Fusion Payroll Developers to join a high-profile government programme supporting one of the UK's largest payroll environments. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical payroll enhancements, supporting business-wide transformation initiatives, and ensuring the smooth operation of a vital enterprise payroll service. Working within a collaborative Agile/DevOps environment, you will contribute to the design, development, integration, and support of Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions, helping to deliver high-priority business changes and continuous service improvements.
