Performance Test Consultant (Non-Functional Testing)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the definition and execution of Performance Testing and OAT approaches for complex applications and platforms.
• Plan, design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner.
• Conduct Load, Stress, Volume, Endurance, and Scalability testing.
• Analyse performance test results and identify application, infrastructure, and database bottlenecks.
• Work closely with development, architecture, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to support resolution of performance issues.
• Prepare performance test plans, test reports, and stakeholder summaries.
• Provide input into effort estimates, test planning, risks, and progress reporting.
• Participate in client and project discussions, providing recommendations for performance optimisation.
• Support delivery of non-functional testing activities in line with agreed project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Non-Functional Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner including VuGen, Controller, and Analysis.
• Proven experience in performance testing for large-scale applications.
• Experience with performance monitoring and analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of application, web, API, database, and infrastructure performance testing.
• Ability to analyse test results and provide actionable recommendations.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JMeter, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or Grafana.
• Banking, Financial Services, or large enterprise domain experience.
• Experience working with offshore/onshore performance testing teams.
