Summary: The role of Project Administrator & Analyst involves supporting a large-scale business transformation programme within a regulated Financial Services environment. The successful candidate will coordinate project readiness activities, produce management information, and track project deliverables alongside Project Managers and stakeholders. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in project support, PMO, or operational readiness who thrive in a fast-paced change environment. The contract is initially for 6 months with a likelihood of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project transition activities by coordinating operational readiness and governance requirements.
  • Track progress against key project milestones, identifying risks, dependencies and actions that could impact delivery.
  • Prepare governance packs, meeting papers, minutes and action logs for steering groups and project boards.
  • Produce and maintain dashboards, scorecards and management information to provide clear visibility of project progress and readiness.
  • Analyse project data to identify trends, risks and areas requiring management attention.
  • Monitor documentation burndown plans, ensuring process documentation is completed, reviewed and approved ahead of implementation.
  • Coordinate actions with business SMEs, operational teams and third-party suppliers to ensure readiness activities remain on track.
  • Support operational readiness across people, process, technology, training, controls and quality assurance.
  • Track completion of training, access provisioning, process sign-off and other key readiness activities required for successful go-live.

Key Skills:

  • Experience within Project Support, PMO, Project Administration or Operational Readiness roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience producing dashboards, reporting and management information.
  • Experience maintaining RAID logs, action trackers and governance documentation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working effectively across business teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience within Financial Services, ideally Life & Pensions or another regulated environment.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an organised and analytical Project Administrator & Analyst to support the successful delivery of a large-scale business transformation programme within a regulated Financial Services environment.

Working alongside Project Managers, Operational Readiness Leads and key business stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects progress smoothly through governance tollgates by coordinating readiness activities, producing insightful management information and tracking key project deliverables.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong project support, PMO or operational readiness experience who enjoys working with data, governance and stakeholders in a fast-paced change environment.

About You

You'll have experience supporting change or transformation programmes and be comfortable working with project governance, reporting and operational readiness activities.

You'll also bring:
