PMO Benefits Lead

Location: Hybrid

Day Rate: £500 - £550 per day Inside IR35

Pigment is a change and transformation consultancy. We partner with other consultancies to deliver a "one team approach" for solving complex change across sectors including Defence and National Security, Central and Local, Government, Transport and Finance.

We're looking for an experienced PMO Benefits Lead to join a high-profile Defence Digital programme, helping to ensure that technology-enabled change delivers real, measurable business value.

As a Pigment PMO Benefits Lead, this is an opportunity to work with senior stakeholders across complex transformation programmes, ensuring that benefits are identified early, tracked effectively, and realised long after project delivery. You'll play a key role in aligning programme outcomes with our client's strategic objectives while helping to embed benefits management into both programme delivery and business-as-usual operations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the development and delivery of benefits management strategies and plans.
  • Working with senior stakeholders to identify, validate and prioritise programme benefits.
  • Establishing benefit baselines, measures and realisation targets.
  • Maintaining benefits registers, dashboards and executive reporting.
  • Tracking and challenging benefits throughout the programme life cycle, managing assumptions, dependencies and risks.
  • Supporting business case development, forecasting and benefits workshops.
  • Ensuring benefits are successfully transitioned into operational teams and realised over the long term.

We're keen to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven experience delivering benefits management on large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at senior level.
  • Experience developing benefits frameworks, registers and reporting.
  • The ability to translate strategic objectives into measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience working within structured programme delivery environments such as MSP or PRINCE2.

Due to the level of sensitivity of this programme, you must hold active SC security clearance and be a Sole UK National.

If you're a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with others and you're passionate about ensuring transformational programmes deliver genuine value to the United Kingdom, we'd love to hear from you.

Why Pigment?

You'll work across high impact, complex programmes where your work matters. At Pigment, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do; we value people who can challenge and deliver, while working seamlessly across a blended delivery team.
