Summary: The Product Analyst/Product Owner role focuses on enhancing customer experience through product enablement within a global financial payments processing provider. Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on products and capabilities supporting Digital & Assisted servicing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business problems into features.
  • Articulate product vision and features to stakeholders, end users, and development teams.
  • Prioritize and manage the feature backlog based on value data metrics.
  • Establish acceptance criteria for features and refine them with relevant teams.
  • Review demos to ensure product changes meet acceptance criteria.
  • Create PI release plans with input from stakeholders and development teams.
  • Monitor development progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Apply Agile methods to encourage frequent inspection and adaptation.
  • Lead PI Planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements.
  • Understand product strategy, market, industry, and company goals.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in supporting teams that write user stories and understanding Epic Level Stories.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis, planning, development, and management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and time management while managing multiple tasks.

Product Analyst/Product Owner - Servicing Train

£400 per day (Inside IR35) - 2 to 3 days per week in the office in Newcastle Upon Tyne - 12 months (but could be a lot longer)

A global leading financial payments processing provider, is seeking an experienced Product Analyst ideally with experience of Customer Experience service trains, to join their ever-evolving E2E Customer Experience Servicing Product Team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

You will need to be product focused, with a product mindset over technical/engineering, and possess excellent communication skills. This is a product enablement role.

This team's priority is to drive the strategy that enables the business to deliver world-class user experiences at every customer touchpoint. Because this team unifies capabilities across the company product portfolio, this is a highly collaborative team that works closely with stakeholders across the enterprise as well as internal teams such as other Product Domains, UX, engineering, architecture, Business Unites, Operations and marketing/Communications.

Core experience required for the Product Analyst:

  • Experience in supporting teams who write user stories and an understanding of Epic Level Stories.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis, planning, development and management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, eg executive, management, & individual contributors.
  • Proficiency in problem solving and time management skills managing multiple ask, different deadlines, & continuous evolution in refinement.
  • Proficiency to operate independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities for the Product Owner/Product Analyst - CDD/KYC/Credit Risk:

  • Within the E2E Customer Experience Servicing Product team you will be focused on products & capabilities that support strategies around Digital & Assisted servicing across all of the business - this includes but not limited to, relationship management, account management, & IVR & Phone, digital communication, AI/Virtual Assistances/Chatbots, etc...
  • Work with other Product Managers and stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into Features within the SAFe Agile Service Excellence Train.
  • Articulate product vision and features in a manner clearly understandable to stakeholders, end users, & development teams.
  • Prioritise and manage Feature backlog of Safe Agile Train (Agile Release Train) based on Value data metrics.
  • Establish Feature acceptance criteria, accept Features and refine Features with Product Managers, Stakeholders, Train Scrum teams, end users, etc
  • Review and provide feedback on demos to ensure Product changes meet acceptance criteria.
  • Create PI release plans with input from stakeholders, end users, development teams & run support teams.
  • Monitor the development progress and provide updates to stakeholders as requested.
  • Apply Agile methods and processes that encourages frequent inspection and adaption.
  • Lead PI Planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements and share with Stakeholders and End Users.
  • Understand product strategy, market, industry and company goals.
