Project Manager
Summary: The Project Manager for Housing IT Transformation will lead projects aimed at decommissioning legacy housing systems and ensuring compliant retention of historical data. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including IT, Data Owners, and Legal, to deliver a robust data retention solution by the contract deadline of 31 October 2026. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data governance and project management within complex environments. Occasional travel to Bristol is required as part of a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects focused on decommissioning legacy housing systems and ensuring compliant data retention.
- Identify, assess, and secure archiving of data across systems including Civica CX, Abritas, and Keystone.
- Work closely with IT, Data Owners, Legal, and third-party suppliers to deliver data retention and access solutions.
- Manage risks to ensure no loss of critical or regulated information.
- Deliver projects against fixed deadlines and external dependencies.
- Maintain strong planning, governance, and project delivery management skills.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in data migration, archiving, or system decommissioning projects.
- Strong understanding of data governance, GDPR, and data retention policies.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Ability to identify and mitigate compliance, data loss, and delivery risks.
- Experience delivering against fixed deadlines.
- Strong planning and project delivery management skills.
- Desirable: Experience within housing, public sector, or regulated environments.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Civica systems, NEC, or similar platforms.
- Desirable: Familiarity with data discovery and data cataloguing approaches.

You'll be joining an established Housing IT Transformation programme, working alongside an experienced internal team of Programme Managers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts.
