Summary: The role of Project Manager involves leading a major Correspondence Management System transformation programme for a public sector client in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of a cloud-based SaaS solution, ensuring stakeholder engagement and alignment with strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the day-to-day delivery of the CMS project and associated workstreams
- Managing project plans, milestones, risks, issues, budgets and resources
- Driving delivery from initiation through to implementation and transition into BAU
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes
- Managing dependencies across multiple projects and programmes
- Providing leadership and governance across project workstreams
- Supporting business change activities and ensuring delivery aligns with strategic objectives
- Representing the project within customer and user forums, ensuring effective communication and engagement
- Escalating risks, issues and delivery concerns to senior leadership where appropriate
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale SaaS or cloud-based transformation programmes
- Strong Project Management background with end-to-end delivery experience
- Demonstrable experience managing complex implementations involving business change, integration and data migration activities
- Experience developing and managing detailed project plans and programme milestones
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging at all organisational levels
- Experience working within large, complex organisations with multiple stakeholder groups
- Ability to manage project finances, risks, governance and reporting
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
