Camunda Developer

Werner Consulting Group LLC (WCG) is a Denver based IT consulting and placement firm. We have a client looking for a FULL REMOTE Camunda developer for the position shown below. Position starts off as a 6 month contract and will most likely extend beyond that.

A Camunda Developer designs, implements, and optimizes business process workflows (BPMN) and decision tables (DMN) using the Camunda platform. They build Java-based microservices, expose RESTful APIs, and integrate Camunda with enterprise systems to automate and scale complex operational workflows. Camunda 8 & above experience is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Workflow Automation: Design and develop BPMN 2.0 processes, DMN models, and reusable workflow components using Camunda 8+.
• System Integration: Expose and consume RESTful APIs to connect Camunda with enterprise applications, databases, and third-party services in Google Cloud Platform Environment
• Microservices Development: Write and maintain Java-based microservices using the Spring Boot framework
• Collaboration: Translate complex business requirements into scalable, technical workflow solutions alongside business analysts and stakeholders.
• Testing & Deployment: Write automated tests (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) and support deployment on cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform) or containerized environments (GKE/Kubernetes)

Required Qualifications & Tech Stack

• Camunda Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Camunda BPM, including Cockpit, Task list, and optimize.
• Core Languages: Deep understanding of Java (11+) and JavaScript.
• Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA.
• Databases: Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, SQL, Spanner), and Google Cloud environments.
• Tools: CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), version control (Git, bitbucket), and Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
