Capex Operations Manager

Job Summary:
o Seeking an experienced Capex Operations Manager to lead PMO operations, governance, reporting, and process excellence for capital projects.
o This player-coach role combines hands-on portfolio management with mentoring Project Coordinators to improve project delivery, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
o Lead PMO processes, governance, and operational standards for capital projects.
o Manage onboarding, training, and support for Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
o Oversee project reporting, KPIs, milestone tracking, audits, and portfolio health.
o Coordinate project governance meetings, reviews, action tracking, and documentation.
o Support CAPEX planning, CWIP compliance, capitalization tracking, and project closeout.
o Resolve system issues, maintain SOPs, and drive process improvements.
o Coach and support Project Coordinators while ensuring consistent execution.

Required Qualifications:
o Experience in PMO, project operations, capital portfolio management, or engineering operations.
o Strong knowledge of project governance, reporting, compliance, and process management.
o Experience with onboarding, training, and stakeholder coordination.
o Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or capital project environments.
o Knowledge of CWIP, capitalization, project closeout, PITR, TPR, SharePoint, and portfolio reporting.
