Key Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot Readiness and Tenant Assessment
  • Assess Microsoft 365 tenants for Copilot readiness across identity, security, compliance, and data architecture.
  • Evaluate SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, and related M365 workloads to understand how content is structured, shared, governed, and accessed.
  • Analyze collaboration and usage patterns to determine whether Copilot can generate meaningful, accurate, and safe responses.
  • Assess Microsoft Graph data exposure and signal quality and understand how it influences Copilot prompt behavior.
  • Identify and articulate risks related to oversharing, legacy permissions, unmanaged content, and fragmented information architecture.
  • Produce clear readiness assessments with prioritized, actionable remediation recommendations.
  • Security, Compliance, and Data Posture
  • Design, review, and validate Microsoft 365 Copilot security and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Entra.
  • Assess and harden data exposure by analyzing permissions, sensitivity labels, external sharing, and access patterns.
  • Ensure least privilege access, data protection, and compliance alignment prior to Copilot deployment.
  • Guide customers on balancing security controls with accessibility to maximize Copilot value responsibly.
  • Copilot Deployment and Platform Foundations
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 Copilot deployment, configuration, and governance.
  • Guide customers through Copilot readiness validation, prerequisite checks, licensing considerations, and deployment planning using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and related services.
  • Advise on Copilot capabilities, limitations, and behavior based on real tenant conditions rather than theoretical use cases.
  • Support Copilot adoption planning by connecting tenant readiness and governance maturity to expected business outcomes.
  • Agents, Automation, and Extensibility (Secondary and Conditional)
  • Evaluate when Copilot Studio, first-party agents, declarative agents, or Power Platform automation are appropriate based on tenant readiness and governance maturity.
  • Define agent and extensibility approaches that complement out-of-the-box Copilot capabilities without introducing unnecessary risk.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams on agent and automation solutions to ensure they are scalable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Contribute to reference architectures, design patterns, solution templates, and implementation guidance for Copilot and agent services.
  • Client Engagement and Design-Led Facilitation
  • Lead customer discovery workshops and design led thinking sessions focused on Copilot readiness, data exposure risk, and platform maturity.
  • Facilitate structured conversations across IT, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Use visual artifacts and structured discovery techniques to surface assumptions, risks, and readiness gaps.
  • Guide executive level discussions on tradeoffs between security, data accessibility, and Copilot value.
  • Establish a shared understanding of what must be addressed before Copilot is enabled.
