Peter Symonds College is one of the largest sixth form colleges in the country and is situated in Winchester, Hampshire. The Adult & Higher Education Division (AHED) responds to the diverse needs of the wider adult community. Our programme for adults ranges from the development of essential, basic skills, courses for fun and leisure, through to foundation and full honours degrees. AHED aims to provide a second chance for many and the opportunity to advance both in the workplace, socially and academically.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic counsellor/educator to provide dissertation supervision and academic support to students undertaking research projects. The successful candidate will have current professional and/or academic expertise and the ability to guide students across a range of research topics and areas of interest.
This is a flexible, remote position offered on a casual basis. Supervision will be allocated according to student demand, with each student receiving up to five hours of support throughout their dissertation. As student enrolment numbers are yet to be confirmed, the volume of work available cannot be guaranteed at this stage.
