Fractional Patent Counsel Remote | Flexible Hours | Consultancy | Ltd Company Contractors Welcome

We're currently seeking an experienced Patent Counsel to support our clients on a fractional consulting basis. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified solicitor with significant in-house intellectual property experience who is looking for flexible, project-based work alongside existing commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on patent and wider IP matters across the business.
  • Supporting patent portfolio strategy and management.
  • Drafting and negotiating patent licences, technology licences and other IP-related commercial agreements.
  • Advising on R&D collaborations, technology development and commercialisation.
  • Managing external patent attorneys and outside counsel.
  • Supporting patent disputes, freedom-to-operate analyses and IP due diligence where required.

About You

Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent). Strong in-house experience advising on patent and intellectual property matters.
