Mainframe z/OS & IBM CMOD Administrator - Only W2
Summary: The Mainframe z/OS & IBM CMOD Administrator role involves administering the IBM Content Manager OnDemand system and managing z/OS operations. The position requires expertise in system programming, incident management, and mainframe architecture. The role is fully remote and is structured as a W2 position. Candidates should have extensive experience in mainframe environments, particularly with IBM CMOD and z/OS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) system including applications, application groups, folders, and users
- Understand CMOD metadata and indexing structures
- Configure indexing, report definitions, and document ingestion workflows
- Manage report loading, ingestion, and indexing (AFP, PDF, line data)
- Ensure efficient archival, retrieval, retention, and lifecycle management of reports
- Work with application teams to define indexing, search, and retrieval requirements
- Support incident, change, and problem management processes
- Knowledge of ODWEK / Content Navigator integration
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
- Excellent understanding of System z architecture
- Excellent experience with IBM z/OS operating system
- Experience in building Mainframe LPAR and OS Upgrades
- Installation of patches and fixes
- System parameters/parmlib maintenance
- Knowledge of managing JES3 subsystem
- Manage incidents on z/OS related issues
- z/OS performance monitoring and reporting
