Summary: The role is for an experienced Projects Lawyer to join a specialist boutique law firm on a fully remote consultancy basis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on a broad range of high-value and strategically important projects across various sectors.
  • Provide legal expertise on complex domestic and international projects.
  • Work autonomously while demonstrating strong technical ability and commercial awareness.
  • Engage with clients and projects primarily in the Middle East.
  • Utilize experience in PPP/PFI projects, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, and offtake agreements.

Key Skills:

  • Qualification in England & Wales or another commonwealth jurisdiction.
  • At least 8 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Experience within a recognized international or City law firm.
  • Strong experience in energy and natural resources, construction, infrastructure, technology, aviation, defence, and/or transport sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience advising on complex projects.
  • Immediate availability for consultancy work.

We are currently instructed by a specialist boutique law firm with a strong reputation for advising on complex projects across the Middle East. The firm is seeking to engage with an experienced Projects Lawyer on a fully remote, consultancy basis, starting immediately.

The successful consultants will advise on a broad range of high-value and strategically important projects across the energy and natural resources, construction, infrastructure, technology, aviation, defence and transport sectors. Lawyers with experience advising on projects and/or clients across the Middle East will be of particular interest.

This opportunity is best suited to experienced Lawyers qualified in England & Wales (or another commonwealth jurisdiction such as Australia or New Zealand), with at least 8 years’ post-qualification experience and a strong track record gained within leading international or City law firms.

The position offers a flexible, non-exclusive consultancy arrangement, making it particularly attractive to Lawyers already operating on a contract or portfolio basis.

  • Qualification in England & Wales

  • A minimum of 8 years’ PQE advising on complex domestic and international projects.
  • Strong experience across one or more of the energy and natural resources, construction, infrastructure, technology, aviation, defence and/or transport sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience advising on PPP/PFI projects, EPC contracts, O&M agreements and offtake agreements.
  • Experience advising on projects and/or clients across the Middle East.
  • Strong technical ability, commercial awareness and the confidence to work autonomously.
  • Immediate availability to undertake consultancy work on a flexible, consultancy basis.
