Summary: Baer is seeking an SAP Oracle to HANA (O2H) Subject Matter Expert for a 6+ month remote project focused on the Department of Defense's SAP S/4HANA modernization program. The role requires experienced SAP functional consultants with an Active Secret Clearance to lead migration activities and ensure compliance with federal audit and compliance requirements. Candidates should have hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA and a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes. The position involves collaboration with various teams to support successful database migration and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Oracle to SAP HANA (O2H) migration activities.
- Assess existing Oracle environments and develop migration strategies.
- Ensure successful database migration, validation, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with SAP functional, Basis, infrastructure, and technical teams.
- Support testing, issue resolution, cutover planning, and post-migration activities.
- Monitor data integrity, system performance, and migration quality.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, documentation, and best practices.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Oracle to SAP HANA migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and Oracle databases.

Overview
Join a multi-year DoD SAP S/4HANA modernization program supporting the enterprise transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. We are seeking experienced SAP functional consultants with Active Secret Clearance to help drive data conversion governance, cross-functional business process integration, Federal audit and compliance requirements, and cutover readiness. Ideal candidates have hands-on SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA experience, a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, and experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations in Federal or DoD environments.
