Security Analyst

Security Analyst - £400/day via Umbrella - 6 Month Contract - Remote - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst to support a critical remediation programme following an external audit. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role ideal for a Security Analyst who can accelerate progress across policy updates, control alignment, and evidence gathering to bring an Information Security Management System (ISMS) back on track.

Your responsibilities as the Security Analyst:

• Lead and support updates to ISO27001 policies, ensuring alignment with current standards and audit findings
• Conduct control assessments, including evidence gathering, validation, and documentation
• Support remediation of audit findings across the ISMS
• Map policies and procedures to ISO27001 controls and broader assurance frameworks
• Contribute to business continuity planning and ensure alignment with ISO requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit evidence packs
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to validate controls and gather required inputs
• Ensure outputs are consistent, structured, and audit-ready
• Operate as a hands-on contributor, driving delivery rather than oversight

As a successful Security Analyst, you will have:

• Strong, demonstrable experience delivering ISO27001 programmes, particularly remediation and audit readiness
• Proven experience in policy creation, review, and update within an ISO27001 framework
• Experience conducting control assessments and producing audit evidence
• Knowledge of business continuity frameworks and their integration with ISO27001
• Experience working within Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) functions
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Comfortable working at pace in a delivery-focused environment
