Senior Developer -.CURRENT SC CLEARANCE NEEDED*

Summary: The role is for a Senior Developer requiring current SC Clearance, focusing on both back-end and front-end development. The position is fully remote and based in the UK, emphasizing strong technical skills in Java, Node.js, and various testing methodologies. Candidates should have experience with event streaming, NoSQL databases, and AWS services, among other technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong Back End development in Java with Spring Boot, and Front End/full-stack development in Node.js with TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• Hands-on experience with event streaming and NoSQL data stores, specifically Kafka and MongoDB
• Solid grounding in unit testing and TDD across both stacks
• BDD experience writing Gherkin-style tests, preferably with Cucumber
• Browser-based testing using Selenium or Playwright, with Playwright and TypeScript preferred
• Experience developing and testing for accessibility, ideally with awareness of GDS (Government Digital Service) components and design styles
• Basic understanding of Docker images and containers, with orchestration exposure to Kubernetes or ECS
• Experience with at least one CI/CD tool (Jenkins, GitLab or GitHub), with GitLab CI/CD preferred
• Working knowledge of AWS services such as SQS, S3, SNS and/or KMS
• Experience with load and performance testing tools such as Gatling or K6
• Comfortable working within Agile Scrum or Kanban delivery teams
• Track record of building, testing and shipping production services end to end across Back End and Front End
