Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction.
- Significant post-qualification experience in Restructuring and Insolvency.
- Strong technical expertise in restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Experience with domestic and cross-border matters is advantageous.
- Ability to start immediately or at very short notice.

We have been instructed on an urgent interim requirement with a leading global law firm, which is seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Counsel or ex-Partner to provide immediate support to its highly regarded Restructuring & Insolvency team.
This is an initial short-term assignment for a number of weeks, with an ASAP start required. The role can be undertaken remotely from within the UK.
The team is recognised for advising on complex domestic and cross-border restructuring, insolvency and distressed situations. Acting for insolvency practitioners, lenders, financial institutions, corporates, boards of directors, investors and other stakeholders, the practice regularly handles high-value and time-critical matters including business restructurings, administrations, restructurings plans, schemes of arrangement, business sales, distressed transactions, workouts and insolvency-related advisory work.
The successful individual is likely to demonstrate:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction such as Australia or New Zealand.
- Significant post-qualification Restructuring and Insolvency experience gained within a recognised City, international or leading national law firm.
- Strong technical expertise across restructuring and insolvency matters, with the ability to work autonomously on complex files.
- Experience advising on both domestic and cross-border matters would be advantageous.
- The ability to start immediately or at very short notice.
