Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll tax filing administration and resolve tax notices with government agencies.
- Research and resolve payroll tax notices, including Penalty & Interest (P&I) calculations and abatement requests.
- Provide payroll tax compliance guidance and subject matter expertise to clients.
- Respond to client and internal team inquiries related to payroll tax matters.
- Analyze tax-related issues, identify root causes, and recommend preventive solutions.
- Support implementation of new clients and ongoing tax filing operations.
- Manage tax filing vendors/suppliers to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Perform variance analysis and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Compile, analyze, and report operational metrics.
- Coordinate interface testing and approve operational checklists.
- Mentor team members and support continuous process improvements.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.

- Minimum 2+ years of Payroll Tax Filing experience.
- 2+ years of client interaction and client management experience.
- Strong understanding of Payroll Tax Compliance and Tax Notice Resolution.
- Experience with Tax Filing Software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and Macros.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
