Summary: The Siemens Teamcenter PLM Architect role involves defining and designing PLM architecture using Siemens Teamcenter, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Define & design end-to-end PLM architecture using Siemens Teamcenter aligned to business and enterprise IT strategy
- Lead implementation, upgrades, and migrations of Teamcenter solutions across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain domains
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, including data models, workflows, and configurations
- Drive integrations with enterprise systems such as ERP (SAP/Oracle), CAD tools, MES, and other applications
- Establish architecture standards, governance, and best practices for PLM platforms
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development, configuration, and admin teams
- Oversee customization and extensions (BMIDE, ITK, SOA/REST APIs, Active Workspace)
- Ensure performance, scalability, security, and data governance across the PLM ecosystem
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, IT, manufacturing) to optimize PLM processes
- Support solution lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
