  • Build scalable data models and schemas (star/snowflake, normalized/denormalized) optimized for Snowflake.
  • Implement Snowflake features: micro-partitions, clustering keys, materialized views, streams, tasks, and zero-copy cloning.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Integrate Snowflake with data ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch, Matillion, Talend), messaging systems (Kafka), and cloud storage (S3, ADLS).
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting for data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data governance and security teams to enforce access controls, masking, and data-sharing policies.
  • Provide documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to analytics and engineering teams.
