Summary: The Software Engineer position is a contract role focused on building and maintaining reinforcement learning environments for backend programming tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain reinforcement learning environments for backend programming tasks.
• Write backend services and supporting code using Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or Rust.
• Develop thorough unit and integration tests to ensure high test coverage.
• Review code for correctness, performance, maintainability, and security.
• Solve programming tasks and document technical reasoning to improve AI model quality.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team and document engineering decisions.

Key Skills:

• Strong relevant experience in backend software development using Java, Node.js, Go, or Rust.
• Proven experience in building scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and code review.
• Cybersecurity/SecOps experience or exposure is highly preferred, including application security and secure coding.
