Summary: The Technical Writer role involves updating documentation to reflect new features and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in technical content. Key Responsibilities:

  • Update existing documentation to reflect new features, enhancements, and changes to the platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Product Management, to ensure accuracy and completeness in technical documentation.
  • Work closely with other members of the writing team to ensure consistency in detail, style, and presentation.
  • Write high-quality technical content that effectively communicates complex information clearly, concisely, and without jargon.

Key Skills:

  • BA degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or a related writing-oriented field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience writing technical content.
  • Excellent English writing skills.
  • Experience documenting public cloud products, Oracle, and Kubernetes.
  • Skill using Oxygen XML Author or a similar product to create documentation in DITA.
  • Ability to manage documentation using Git and GitHub.
  • Experience working with CLI and Linux-like OS is a plus.
