Senior Associate Device Engineer

Key responsibilities

  • Design and execute mechanical and functional testing of drug delivery devices.
  • Develop test methods, experimental rigs and laboratory test setups.
  • Support design verification and validation activities.
  • Analyse experimental data using statistical techniques and Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Contribute to risk management activities, including FMEA.
  • Support design control documentation and technical reporting.
  • Work closely with design, quality, regulatory, human factors and formulation teams.
  • Ensure laboratory activities are carried out in accordance with ISO 13485 and established quality procedures.

About you

  • Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related Engineering/Science discipline.
  • Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical or drug delivery sector.
  • Knowledge of design verification, device testing and analytical test methods.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, design controls and risk management (FMEA).
  • Experience using CAD software (Creo preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to engineering.
